Padded Bras

Padded bras for smooth shape, zero bulk

Padded bras that give you a smooth shape under tees, proper nipple coverage, and support that actually holds up. Light padding and moulded cups made for everyday wear.

A good padded bra should sit smoothly under a T-shirt, provide reliable nipple coverage and still feel comfortable well past lunch. Nala’s padded collection includes flexible-wire, wire-free and moulded styles across smaller and fuller cup sizes.

Padding levels vary between designs, so you can choose the amount of shape and coverage that works for you. Just honest padding in sizes that fit real Aussie bodies, including fuller busts up to H cup. Loved by thousands of reviewers, worn by women who want their undies to work as hard as they do.

Pick your padded style

Padded t-shirt bra

Smooth cups that disappear under fitted tops. Our padded t-shirt bras sit flat, cover nipples properly and skip the weird quad-boob thing entirely. The Knockout Padded T-Shirt Bra is the one people buy on repeat.

Padded bralette

A padded bralette combines softer, wire-free construction with enough lining for shape and coverage. It is an easy option for working from home, travelling or anyone who finds traditional underwire uncomfortable.

Padded Flexiwire bra

The Padded Flexiwire Bra bends with you instead of digging in. Flexible wire, moulded cups, the structure of a wired bra without the ouch.

Strapless and padded, together

Low-cut tops, backless dresses, that one halter you're committed to. Our strapless padded bras have grippy bands that stay put and moulded cups that hold their shape without straps doing the heavy lifting. See Nala’s strapless padded bras for the styles and sizes currently available.

Who padded bras are for

Padded bras work well when you want a smoother outline under clothing, more nipple coverage or a cup that holds its shape throughout the day. Lightly lined styles can add definition without much extra volume, while firmer moulded cups provide more structure.

Across the current padded collection, selected sizes range from A to J cups and bands 8 to 26, although no single style covers every combination. Nala’s design team brings more than 100 years of combined industry experience, but the individual product page is still the best place to confirm the size range, padding level and construction of a particular bra. Need help finding your fit for a smaller frame? Have a look at bras for smaller busts.

Not sure of your size?

Padded cups leave less room for sizing guesswork, particularly when the foam is firmly moulded.

AU uses dress-size bands (10, 12, 14). US uses inches (32, 34, 36). A 12C in AU is roughly a 34C in US, and the two systems don't swap one-for-one. If you're shopping internationally, double-check the chart.

For fuller busts, a firm band isn't a wrong-size band. It's the foundation of your support. The band should sit firmly and level around your ribs. If it rides up while the straps carry most of the weight, it may be too loose. Pop your details into our bra size calculator for a starting point, then read sizing your Nala bras for the fine print.

Don't take our word for it

FAQs

What's the difference between a padded bra and a push up bra?

A padded bra uses lining or foam to provide coverage and create a smoother cup shape. A push-up bra uses strategically placed padding to lift the breasts and bring them closer together. Nala’s padded styles range from light to medium shaping, so check the padding description on the individual product page.

Do padded bras make you look bigger?

Lightly lined bras usually make very little difference to overall volume. Firmer moulded cups can create a rounder or slightly fuller outline, depending on the cup construction and amount of padding.

Padded bralette vs padded bra, what's the difference?

A padded bralette is wirefree, pull-on, and softer in structure. A padded bra usually has more shaping, often with wires or moulded cups, for a defined look under clothes. Bralettes win on comfort. Padded bras win on polish.

Best padded bra for small busts?

Lightly lined styles or a padded bralette work beautifully for smaller cups because they add shape without overwhelming your frame. Browse all bras to filter by cup size.

Are padded bras good for fuller busts?

Yes, if the construction is right. Look for moulded cups with proper band support (firm, not loose) and sizing that goes beyond a D cup. We grade to H in key styles for exactly this reason.

Can you machine wash padded bras?

Pop them in a lingerie bag on cold, gentle cycle. Air dry flat so the cups keep their shape. Skip the dryer. It kills elastic and warps padding.
