Reviews

Postpartum is interesting 😂

"I genuinely wanted to love this bra but it's just not as comfortable as I thought it was going to be. I want to disclose that this could also just be a user error kind of situation as I'm very unsure of what size I should be purchasing since being pregnant/having a baby. First time mum so just trying to find what works best. I will say that it keeps the girls up but I constantly feel like they are falling out of the bra. The band at the back doesn't feel right, I purchased a size 12 but when I put it on the last clip, it just feels very uncomfy and suffocating but when I put it on the first clip(loose) it doesn't feel like it gives me enough support. I purchased the biggest cup size H-J and it just feels like they are falling out of the bra. Just trying to survive this breastfeeding journey."

Sooo comfy But. . .

"I wear a 12 h/j and wanted this bra to be perfect so bad but there are pros and cons. . Pros - super soft - light and sooo comfy - surprisingly supportive for big bust Cons - sizing suggestion are never right for me so I have to try and usually do exchanges (my gals are long pendulus boobies so measurements are never true indications for cup size for any brand) - spillage. After moving around, bending forward or after laying down, re adjustment is always neede to put the girls back in the cups (which then fit well). Not a big deal but would be nice not to have to. After initial try on I went and put 4 more in my cart, but after wearing for a couple days I probably wont buy more at this stage. Its always super hard for me to find bras (maternity or otherwise) that really fit my shape. This came so close but just not quite enough to warrent repurchase."

Great maternity bra

"Easy to use, comfortable and not too ugly under clothes! I have large breasts so I’m always self conscious about how my chest looks. I feel comfortable wearing this and confident that I can undo it quickly when needed. Recommend."

— Kate B. (5/5)

So comfy and so so

"So comfy and so so cute. Love everything about this bralette <3"

— Karissa (5/5)

Comfy without coverage

"These are super comfortable bras that are true to size; however, I will say that they have essentially no padding around the nipple area, which isn’t ideal because a) the mesh does sometimes irritate them (as some other reviews have mentioned) but b) it means that this bra is not great for wearing under many tops because my breastfeeding nips show through!"

— Ash (3/5)

Gorgeous bralette. So comfy

"Gorgeous bralette. So comfy and soft. Love the colour"

— Karissa (5/5)

Good but i think

"Good but i think a padded version would be so good"

— Sima (4/5)

I love these bras

"I love these bras so much!! The fit and support ot provides with no underwire is amazing and the material is so soft! The sizes offered are also great! The only thing I would suggest be adjusted is that the mesh detailing, is also inside the whole cup which can get a bit uncomfortable when you’re sensitive at the beginning of your breastfeeding journey! I was also in contact with customer services before my purchase and they were so friendly, supportive and quick to respond!"

— Claudia (4/5)

True to size based

"True to size based on measurements, super comfortable - very happy with purchase."

Nala maternity bras: The only let down you’ll feel is the one in your boobs

Hey mumma, aren’t you over maternity bras that put the  boo in boring? Frumpy, dumpy and exhaustingly unimaginative,
nursing bras aren’t associated with words like fun, beautiful, sexy and functional (okay, maybe the last one). But we’re here to change all of that. Our maternity bralettes redefine what a good nursing bra is, focusing on cuts and colours that don’t make you feel like you’ve been shuffled to beige land now you’re on this side of post-partum… but what does that mean, outside the promo talk? Let’s take a look.

  1. Our maternity bras are cup inclusive, starting at B and running all the way to J… AND we support underbusts from 8 to 24. Plus size, the smaller side and anything in between, we’re here for you all.

  2. The feeding clips that aren’t super fiddly to use. You can operate these with one hand, no worries.

  3. The hidden support sling IS supportive. Wirefree bras can get a bad wrap for not being as supportive and snug as their wired buds, but our boob magicians have worked tirelessly to deliver a nursing bralette that will lift, shape, sculpt and support your girls… even when they’re doubling as a milk-truck.

Say it with us, “I deserve sexy breastfeeding bras, I deserve comfortable breastfeeding bras, and I deserve a bra that makes me feel and look good.”

Maternity Bra FAQ

When should you buy a maternity bra?

According to the Australian Breastfeeding Association, your boobs will mostly be done changing and growing at 16 weeks. That said, some people may outgrow their favourite bras long before the four month mark, so it really depends on how your body is responding to the hormone cocktail that comes with pregnancy. Use our measurement guide to find out your new size, and remember, don’t buy a bra that is too big or too small. If your girls grow more later on, you can always upgrade. If you need a target amount, start with two and reassess just before your little person arrives.

How do you know what size maternity bra to buy?

Fitting a maternity bra isn’t all about size (although the correct cup and band size matter) - it should also feel freaking awesome. Your breasts should be embraced comfortably and evenly, with a little bit of give in the band to respond to post-let down fluctuations. Be careful the back isn’t riding up - before you rip the tags off, try your bra over an existing crop with nursing pads to catch any liquid gold and maintain your ability to get a refund. If the back is crawling up to your shoulder blades, it’s time to go up a cup size.

Why should I buy a wirefree maternity bralette?

Underwire isn’t great when you’re breastfeeding. Breastfeeding causes your boobs to gain and lose volume throughout the day, as bub lunches and the supply is replenished. The rigid, and often unforgiving nature of underwire can put too much pressure on your girls when they’re full, increasing the likelihood of mastitis. And mastitis is no joke!
